Welcome to the UNCG MAC Support Hub information site.   Updates and information on various topics related to MACs will be posted here.

We hope this site will provide you with the information and support resources you need to get the most value out of your MAC system while on our campus network. Information Technology Services (ITS) provides Mac support to faculty, staff and students as outlined below.  Assistance can be obtained by visiting the Technology Support Center in Forney 101 or by contacting 6-TECH at (336) 256-TECH (8324) or 6-TECH@uncg.edu.

For faculty and staff with UNCG-owned Mac hardware, support includes:

  • First-time setup
  • Warranty hardware repair and replacement by certified technicians
  • Out-of-warranty hardware repair (part costs billed to department)
  • Software installation and troubleshooting
  • Printing setup and troubleshooting
  • Network connectivity (wireless and wired)

For students with Mac hardware purchased through the Student Laptop Program, available support includes:

  • First-time setup
  • Warranty hardware repair and replacement by certified technicians
  • Out-of-warranty hardware repair (part costs billed to the student)
  • Software installation and troubleshooting
  • Network connectivity (wireless and wired)
